Google+ potentially becoming the next Facebook?

A recent estimated figure was released from an agent affiliated with one of the world’s largest family history resource sites indicating that the Google+ member number is quickly approaching 10 million. The number represents the worldwide number of users on Google’s newly launched social network.

Of the 10 million users, evidence shows that 2.2 million joined within the last 34-40 hours. An online sources states that this an impressive growth even for an online master-site, such as Google. At the current growth rate and popularity of social media and networking, Google+ could possibly create compelling competition for Facebook. Although Google has had difficulty along the way, the search engine site may finally master the thriving social media sphere.
