Google Buys Motorola Mobility

Headlining news this morning states that Google has purchased Motorola Mobility for a whopping $12.5 billion. Both companies are enthusiastic about the new combination. With the new development, Google will be able expand Motorola Mobility’s partner Android. According to reports within the last few weeks, Apple holds a firm lead in the mobile market. However, Google intends to enhance the Android-powered devices in order to close the gap between mobile computing devices.

The ownership deal is expected to be closed at the end of these year or early 2012.
